Vision Dice Tower Update #8: PCB Progress, New Commercials & Tech Tuesdays

Hey everyone!
It’s time for another Vision Dice Tower update, and we have some good progress to share.
Our biggest focus since the last update has been continuing to work through the remaining hardware pieces so we can get closer to a production-ready tower.
🧩 PCB Progress
We’ve continued working closely with the electrical engineer who has been helping Josh finalize our custom printed circuit board.
After the successful camera testing we shared in our last update, we moved forward and ordered a few new test boards incorporating those changes. Those boards are now at the end of production or already making their way to us, so we expect to have them in hand soon.
The next step is simple: test everything together.
We want to make sure the new PCB, camera, lens, and the rest of the hardware all work together the way we expect before we commit to the larger board order.
Assuming those tests go well, we’ll move into the next phase:
- Make the final minor adjustments to the tower design for the new PCB, camera, and lens
- Print the updated towers
- Order the larger PCB run
- Begin assembly and move toward fulfillment
That makes these upcoming board tests an important milestone for us.
📦 December Is Still Our Target
Based on where things stand today, we are still targeting December 2026 for delivery.
There are still steps between where we are now and having towers in your hands, but we continue to believe that end-of-year timeframe is achievable.
As always, if something changes that materially affects that schedule, we’ll communicate it with you.
🎥 The New Vision Dice Tower Commercials Are Live!
We’ve also finally started releasing the new commercials we’ve been working on.
We created three different videos to help explain what the Vision Dice Tower is, why we built it, and what we’re trying to bring back to online tabletop gaming.

⚙️ Introducing Tech Tuesday
We also want to do a better job of letting people see the development process instead of only hearing from us when we have a major milestone.
So we’re starting Tech Tuesday.
Our goal is to release a short video each week showing something we’re working on with the Vision Dice Tower — hardware testing, software progress, new parts, manufacturing updates, or whatever happens to be moving forward that week.

If you want more frequent glimpses behind the scenes between these longer Kickstarter updates, Tech Tuesday will be one of the best ways to follow along.
🟡 Late Pledges Are Still Open
If you know someone who has been following the project but missed the original Kickstarter, late pledges are still open.
We are currently planning late-pledge towers as part of the same end-of-year production timeframe, so there is still an opportunity to get into this first run.
