Josh Cabarrús began playing Dungeons & Dragons in 1989 and has enjoyed both playing and DM’ing across multiple editions, with a special love for the Forgotten Realms. His passion for storytelling led to memorable campaigns, including a custom adventure featuring the return of the Shadovar and the conquest of Cormyr. After reconnecting with the game through coworkers and the 5th edition starter set, Josh began streaming Thursday night sessions, giving rise to The Order of the Dice. He lives in Utah with his wife of 16 years and their three daughters, works as a Sales Engineer in cybersecurity, and loves gaming, target shooting, and quality time with family.

Scott Strong is the CEO and one of the original members behind The Order of the Dice. What began as casual games among friends has grown into a collaborative platform for storytelling, streaming, and innovation in the D&D space. Scott helps shape stories, build worlds alongside the DMs, and guide the company’s bigger vision—partnering with fantasy authors and exploring new tabletop technologies. Outside of The Order, he's a husband, father of three, and a full-time enterprise SaaS sales professional specializing in security and privacy.

Caleb Hennen developed a love for fantasy early on through the Dragonlance novels and Baldur’s Gate, unknowingly immersing himself in the D&D world. Though he hadn’t played tabletop D&D for years, his passion for storytelling and the Forgotten Realms never faded. After connecting with avid D&D-playing coworkers, Caleb finally jumped in and eventually joined The Order of the Dice. Outside of the game, Caleb is a devoted husband, dad to six kids, tech professional, and a fan of reading and sports.

With over 15 years in construction management and project leadership, I bring big ideas to life—whether managing multi-million dollar developments, opening retail locations, or building from scratch. My experience spans commercial, residential, and renewable energy projects, and I’m passionate about fostering environments that empower teams to succeed. Outside of work, I’m an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, traveling, and rappelling, and I love creating—whether through construction, tinkering in my garage, 3D printing, or painting models. A lifelong learner, I’m always curious and ready for the next challenge.

Dennis has been rolling dice since 6th grade (Over 35 years ago), starting with Gary Gygax’s Chainmail and moving on to AD&D 2.0 before diving into all kinds of TTRPGs. Over the years he’s played MERP, WFRP, Top Secret, Twilight 2000, and plenty more. When Dennis makes characters, they usually meet their end pretty quickly—most don’t even make it past the first couple of sessions, which has become something of a running joke at the table. What really keeps him hooked, though, is worldbuilding. He’s always loved Faerûn, but he tends to focus on the worlds he builds himself. The biggest of these is Verivar, a setting that fueled a three-year campaign with his group and is now finding new life as the foundation for a book.

From that moment, fantastical worlds became his playground, his imagination soaring through the misty forests of Middle-earth and zooming across star-studded galaxies far, far away. Years later, when old friends extended an invitation to once again roll the dice of destiny, Nick leapt at the chance like a nimble halfling rogue. But this time, he also donned the mantle of Dungeon Master, weaving tapestries of adventure with the silver threads of his storytelling. When not commanding dragons or crafting epic quests, Nick can be found tending to his other passion project – a budding business empire that rivals any merchant guild in the land. And in moments of respite, he transforms into his most cherished role: that of a devoted father, romping through backyard kingdoms with his trusty canine companion always at his side, ready for the next great adventure.
